We always have water sources for the birds. A beautiful Coopers Hawk like to take full baths in this fountain. It’s amazing.
Roadrunners occasionally check out the property with their adorable run and serious demeanor.

Overview

The lovely peaceful location just 30 minutes from Tucson and comfortable relaxing ways to access the stunning interesting birds of Southern Arizona.
Sit out on the Cottage front porch at cafe style tables with your local host.
Lattes and snacks will be served.
Sit and bird watch from the comfort of your chair while sipping a delicious drink. Watch the birds as they enjoy their morning feeder and as they get hydrated at the bird bath.
We'll have an App running for Bird Sound Identification as well as books to I.D. the Sonoran Desert birds.

Activity itinerary

Birding from the comfort of a chair while sipping barista-quality iced Matcha Lattes or coffee. My cottage is in the Sonoran Desert and provides a quiet and remote opportunity to sit and view the birds which frequent our feeders. No hiking needed. Enjoy a homemade cold drink and snack while looking out at acres of Saguaros and mountain ranges. The birds are highly entertaining as they position for the feeders. Common visitors: Curved-bill Thrashers, woodpeckers, cardinals, Cactus Wren, Sparrows, Hummingbirds, Lesser Goldfinch, Mourning Doves, Phainopepla, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Finch, Verdin, Gilded-Flicker. These are regulars and you never know who else will stop or fly by.
