Our tours start at our shop / garage, where we'll hand over the bikes and itinerary before explaining the route.
One of our proposed itineraries crosses the south hills of Lucca, along the naturalistic path of the old monumental aqueduct, following the way of waters. After collecting the bicycles we start our easy ride towards the small valley of Guamo, and head for the natural park that the locals calls “The Golden words”, where the precious oligomineral water of Lucca flow. We’ll bike in the green countryside, at the slopes of Monte Pisano, charachterized by agricultural buildings and village churches. At some point during the tour, a picnic lunch can be arranged at our partner winery, with local cheeses, charcuterie and wine to be savoured by the shade of the olive groves overlooking the vineyards (please book in advance, vegan and vegetarian options available). After a quick break, we'll get back on track by exploring the surrounding area, with nice and relaxed back roads surrounded by the picturesque landscapes of this rural area.
Heading back to the shop you will take in more of the natural beauty of the area before finally arriving at our shop, tired but happy of a day exploring the unexplored!
