What you can expect

We meet at the Torres De Serranos. The main gates to the city of Valencia is the perfect place to welcome you! We pick up the bikes at my shop, next to the museum of the Casa de las Rocas. Cycling through El Carmen, I’ll point out the local street artists, great Paella restaurants and more unusual place like the Centro del Carmen and the Cathouse of Valencia! We’ll cycle around the vibrate El Carmen neighbourhood, crossing over one of the major roads, Calle Caballeros, pointing out important churches, landmarks, tapas bars, and vintage shops! Heading down to the Plaza del Mercado. The market heart of Valencia. Taking in the Mercado Central, Santos Juanes, and La Lonja. Telling you all the stories of this vibrant part of Valencia. Pointing out the best places for local Valencian breads and pastries, craft beers, and vermutería! Next stop will be Plaza de la Virgen, to point out the Cathedral, Palacio de la Generalitat, the Basílica Virgen de Los Desamparados and the miguelete tower. Great for a photo on this beautiful plaza. I’ll point out some exclusive rooftop bars and places to try the local cocktail, Agua de Valencia. We then head to the Museo Arqueológico de L'Almoina and afterwards take on the “Hill of Valencia” passing by local tapas bars and uber-cool gift shops. We move onto Plaza de la Reina to point out the main entrance of the Cathedral. We’ll talk about Horchata, the local must have soft drink. Around the corner we’ll stop and talk about the most important dish n Valencia, Paella! Where the locals eat it, and when. We’ll cycle past the Centro de Arte Hortensia Herrero. Worth seeing for her impressive art collection in this beautiful building. Next stop is Museo Nacional de Ceramica. One of Spain's finest city palaces, now the national Ceramic museum. I let you know when it's free and what to see! We’ll then head to fantastic Plaza del Ayuntamiento, where we’ll find the City Hall, Post Office, Bull Fighting arena, and the Estació del Nord. We’ll speak about the Fallas, Batman, tapas bar, rooftop bars, shopping and where to find the best bocadillos in valencia. Afterwards, we’ll head to the Plaza del Patriarca. We cycle past the Old University and The Church of the Patriarch. I recommend great places for lunch, locals beers, and pastries in the area. Then onto the shopping area of Colon, cycling past the Gardens of Glorieta, then onto the Mercado de Colon. In the heart of the shopping area of Valencia, I’ll give you tips and recommendations in the more local parts of the city. Next stop is the awesome River Turia park. Going over the Pont de les Flors bridge into the park. We cycle past the Palau de la Música and Gulliver, on our way to the futurist City of Arts & Sciences! We take in the magnificent Sci-Fi buildings and the surrounding area! Fantastic for a photo or two! At the end of the park, we will head to the last area the Port and the Marina. Cycling onto the F1 Circuit, past the America's Cup building to the beach for a drink!
