Discover Guangzhou like a local on this unhurried private tour. No rushing. Just authentic experiences, great food, and a rhythm that lets you feel the city.
Your day starts with fresh morning air at Yuexiu Park, where locals practice tai chi, dance, and write calligraphy. It‘s a peaceful window into daily Cantonese life.
Next, step into history at the Chen Family Ancestral Hall, a 130-year-old masterpiece of intricate wood and stone carvings. Your entrance ticket is included.
Lunch takes you to Shamian Island, a colonial-era peninsula with tree-lined streets and European charm. You’ll enjoy a classic Cantonese meal including a local beer or non-alcoholic drink, traditional starters, a signature main course, and dessert. I personally select restaurants that serve authentic flavours — no tourist traps.
Afternoon brings you to Canton Tower square. Instead of rushing up the tower, we‘ll visit three free photo spots with perfect views of the skyline. I’ll treat you to a local snack/ a traditional dessert, or a refreshing drink as we watch the city buzz around us. If you prefer to go up the observation deck, I can arrange it — ticket price available on request.
Dinner is another full Cantonese feast, carefully chosen to showcase the region's culinary heritage. Again, includes your choice of local beer or non-alcoholic drink, starters, main course, and dessert.
We end the day on the Pearl River night cruise (ticket included). Watch Guangzhou‘s illuminated skyline — Canton Tower, Haixinsha Island, and modern bridges — glide past as you relax on the water.
This is a private tour for you and your group. Your comfort is my priority. Hotel pickup and drop-off within Guangzhou city are included, as well as an air-conditioned private vehicle, an English-speaking guide and driver.
Dietary preferences? Let me know in advance. The itinerary is flexible — we can adjust based on your interests.
