In the late morning, it's time to cast off. The excursion boat takes you to the beautiful Moselle town. The trip takes about 20 minutes. After a short walk, you will reach the restaurant, where you will be served a delicious hearty snack. There are different types of ham, salami, cheese variations, tomato mozzarella, potato salad and bread. Well fortified, a winegrower will now pick you up for an exciting covered wagon ride through the vineyards. The ride takes us through the vineyards and you will experience a fantastic view of the Moselle valley. On the covered wagon you will taste about 5 samples of the winegrower's delicious wine. There are several stops along the way where everything about winegrowing is explained to you. Additional wine is available to you throughout the entire covered wagon ride and can be purchased on site. The covered wagon will take you back to the landing stage in good spirits. From here, the “White Fleet” will take you back to Bernkastel by boat.
