The heart of the city and the big stage
We start at Pariser Platz, right by the Brandenburg Gate – the world-famous symbol of German reunification. A short detour takes us to the Reichstag and the Chancellor's Office. From there, you'll pass by the Soviet War Memorial on your way to the city's green lung: the Tiergarten. Passing the Goethe Monument, we arrive at the impressive Holocaust Memorial – a place that invites us to pause for reflection before we set off towards more modern sights.
Bunker, Wall & Music Legends
From the historic site of the former Führerbunker, we head to Potsdamer Platz. Here, the division of Berlin becomes tangible: We will see original sections of the Wall right next to the futuristic architecture of the Sony Centre. A special highlight for music fans: We pass by the legendary Hansa Studios, where stars like David Bowie made music history, and then arrive at the site of the “Topography of Terror.”
Stories of escape, Checkpoint Charlie & chocolate bliss
We glide to Checkpoint Charlie, the site of the tank confrontation, and leave the Cold War behind us to turn into luxurious Friedrichstraße. Our destination: the famous chocolate house at Gendarmenmarkt. Here, an experience for all the senses awaits you: Marvel at chocolate landmarks weighing up to 500 kg and enjoy the exclusive delicacies of the house (not included in the tour price). After that, we will make a photo stop in one of the most beautiful squares in Europe – Gendarmenmarkt.
Prussian Splendour & Museum Island
Via Bebelplatz (the site of the book burning) and the State Opera, we will reach the architectural heart of old Berlin. We will cross Museum Island with views of Berlin Cathedral and the rebuilt City Palace. Passing by the historic bullet holes from World War II, we take in all the splendour of Unter den Linden. Passing the major embassies and the Hotel Adlon, we return to our starting point at the Brandenburg Gate.
