What you can expect

  • Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Belfast. Head to Derry/Londonderry, where you will learn about the Siege of Derry and the Battle of the Bogside, Operation Motorman, and Bloody Sunday.

    Your guide will take you through the area in which those tragic events took place, including the Museum of Free Derry and show you where thirteen civil rights marchers were shot dead by the paratroopers of the British Army. Your guide, who is also a local historian and political activist, will also take you on your own private tour of the ancient city walls where you will learn about the siege and plantation.

    Admire the politically charged murals and street art depicting various events related to the city and beyond as well as the historic canons dotted through the city. Visit the world-famous Derry Girls Mural and stop off for lunch at Derry's oldest sited bar.

    Other sights include the Walled City with Canon, the Guildhall, Peace Bridge and Peace Flame, the Irish Republican Bogside, and the British Loyalist Fountain.
