Meet your guide and start at Jingshan Park. Watch locals practising Tai Chi and traditional dances, and learn about the park’s history—including the last Ming emperor, Chongzhen, who took his life here as rebels approached the city walls. Climb to the hilltop via scenic pavilions for a stunning panoramic view of the Forbidden City. Afterwards, head to Beihai Park, pausing to browse a local market along the way.

Upon arriving at Beihai Park, visit Jade Island—home to a Buddhist temple and the iconic white pagoda. Continue north to admire China’s unique Nine Dragon Screen, then explore the Five Dragon Pavilion, where emperors and their consorts once fished, watched fireworks, or gazed at the stars.

If you choose the 3-hour package, after exploring Beihai Park, your tour will extend to the charming hutongs around Houhai and Shichahai. Wander through the historic lanes, soak up the laid-back local vibe, and experience a quieter side of Beijing.

The tour ends at either Beihai Park’s north gate (2-hour package) or a central spot in the hutong area (3-hour package). You can choose to continue exploring independently, or your guide will assist you in arranging a taxi at your own cost for your next destination.
