Your private guide will pick you up at your hotel in Füssen. Our first stop is the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle, renowned as the most visited castle in southern Germany and famously known as the inspiration behind Disney's fairytale castle. With our Skip the Line service, bid adieu to long waits for tickets or the fear of arriving to find them sold out. A shuttle ride takes us to Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrücke) for breathtaking photo opportunities. We then embark on a picturesque walk to Neuschwanstein, the enchanting fairy-tale castle, where a guided tour awaits. Delve into the intriguing history of the Swan King, Ludwig II, the Bavarian monarch from 1864-1886, and learn about the construction of Neuschwanstein Castle (1869-1886). Afterwards, a horse-drawn carriage awaits to transport us back to Hohenschwangau village. Please be advised that during winter months, Marienbrücke may be closed due to snow and safety precautions.

Our journey continues to Linderhof Palace, where King Ludwig II resided for over 8 years. Explore the exquisite formal gardens, the Moorish Kiosk, and the renowned Venus Grotto (currently closed for maintenance works until further notice). Linderhof Palace, the culmination of extensive building endeavours, stands as the sole grand palace completed during King Ludwig II's lifetime. Initially envisioned as a palace akin to Versailles, the design evolved around his father's forester's house, which later became the "Royal Lodge." The palace underwent several phases of construction and transformation under Ludwig II's meticulous supervision. Please note that the Venus Grotto is temporarily closed for maintenance.
