We will start our e-bike tour in Bad Reichenhall at the location of your choice.
Depending on our starting point, we will ride along the Saalach River, passing Karlstein and the Eisenbichl farm, and then climb the first rolling hills, enjoying phenomenal views of the Zwiesel and Hochstaufen mountains and the Reichenhall valley. The cows around us share this amazing view with us. This might be the perfect spot for your first selfie with a cow and a mountain ;-)
We continue uphill along a shady forest path to the stunning Thumsee, one of the most beautiful and clean mountain and swimming lakes in Upper Bavaria. The lakeside beer garden is the perfect spot for a cool refreshment and a dip in the crystal-clear lake.
Refreshed and energised, we then continue uphill through the forest towards Lake Listsee and the Niederalm. At our next stop, we are rewarded with a magnificent view over the Reichenhall valley basin. After a short refreshment, we head downhill through the Nonner Oberland, with an optional stop at the Flatscherhof farm shop. If you like, you can buy local specialities (sausage, cheese, etc.) here.
We then continue along the Saalach River to the Staufenbrücke bridge. The trail offers numerous fantastic views of the Predigstuhl, the Schlafende Hexe (Sleeping Witch), and the Untersberg. If we like, we can take a short drink break at the Staufenbrücke beer garden.
Finally, we will take a short detour to the beautiful, sunny mid-altitude area above Reichenhall, heading to Bayerisch Gmain, where we will once again enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama to the fullest.
The return journey to Reichenhall will then take us to the tour's final destination, the Wieninger Schwabenbräu beer garden at the end of Reichenhall's pedestrian zone. Our tour ends here with a relaxing “zamsitz'n” (get-together).
