Next, marvel at the Temple of Poseidon, perched 70 metres above the sea on the cliff’s edge (entry tickets not included). Walk on the revered land of Sounion, mentioned in Homer’s Odyssey, and stand on the same cliff where it is said King Aegeus threw himself off.
On summer days bring your swimmsuit and explore the hidden beach behind the Temple.(not for passengers with impaired mobility)
