What you can expect

  • Your experience begins with a comfortable pickup from your accommodation in Aswan. Sit back and enjoy the short, scenic drive as you make your way to the Nubian Village, one of the most charming and culturally rich destinations in southern Egypt.

The Nubian Village dates back more than a century, formed during the early 1900s when Nubian families relocated around the time of the Aswan Reservoir’s construction. Today, the village is famous for its brightly painted houses, friendly locals, and warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Upon arrival, enjoy a camel ride around the village. Wander past colourful homes, handcrafted decorations, and palm-lined pathways while taking in the peaceful rhythm of daily Nubian life.

Make sure to take plenty of photos; the village’s vivid colours, smiling faces, and scenic Nile backdrops make it one of Aswan’s most photogenic spots.

After exploring and enjoying your time with the camels, your driver will take you comfortably back to your hotel in Aswan.
