What you can expect

Step into Asakusa and experience Tokyo’s most fun, festival-style sushi workshop—where hands-on cooking meets Japanese celebration.

We start with Kagami-biraki, a traditional sake barrel-opening that symbolises new beginnings. Together we count down, chant “Yoisho, Yoisho, Yoisho!”, and share a celebratory toast with a small pour of sake.
*If you don’t drink alcohol, we’ll happily provide water or warm Japanese tea instead—everyone can join the moment.

Next, you’ll learn the core techniques of Edomae-style nigiri with friendly, expert guidance: how to shape rice with the right pressure, handle toppings, and place fish cleanly and confidently. You’ll make 6–12 pieces step-by-step, with hands-on coaching throughout—easy for beginners, genuinely satisfying for food lovers.

To finish, we keep it simple and relaxing: you’ll whisk a bowl of matcha and enjoy it as the final sip—a calm, satisfying way to wrap up after the cheers and sushi-making.

If you have any allergies or cannot eat raw fish/wasabi, please let us know in advance so we can guide you smoothly.
