Embark on a 3-day adventure to see the Materuni Waterfalls, Chemka Hot Springs, Tarangire National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a guided tour of the waterfalls, a coffee tour, and a swim in the hot springs. Go on a game drive in Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 1:
Begin your adventure with a pick-up from the airport and a welcome from your guide. Head to the Materuni Waterfalls, located under the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Admire the impressive waterfall, one of the tallest in the area, spewing crystal-clear glacier water 70cm into the basin.
Cross valleys and hills covered by tropical rainforests, past coffee, bananas, avocados, and tree species. Enjoy a local lunch prepared by the Chagga community. Afterwards, leave for Chemka Hot Springs. The road is bumpy, so driving takes more than 40 minutes.
During the trip, enjoy the wonderful scenery and see authentic Tanzanian life. Swim, relax, eat your lunch, and enjoy the sun. If you like, while you're swimming, a delicious barbecue can be prepared for you. After that adventure, be driven to your hotel.
Day 2:
Visit Tarangire National Park, home to the world’s largest concentration of elephants. See herds of up to 300 elephants around the Tarangire River, drinking or enjoying a mud bath. After arriving at the park, proceed on a game drive. After your adventure, be driven to the hotel for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 3:
On the final day of your adventure, be picked up early in the morning by your guide from your accommodation in Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania. It’s home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the Big Five game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino).
Huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals. Hominid fossils found in the Olduvai Gorge date back millions of years.
Afterwards, get lunch and have some game drive within the park before returning to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport for departure, marking the end of your 3-day adventure.
