Embark on an unforgettable day to discover Raiatea, a sacred island and the cultural heart of Polynesia, on a small-group boat tour combining sailing, snorkelling, culture, and relaxation.

We'll be leaving at 8:30 AM from the Uturoa ferry terminal.

We'll sail along the west coast of Raiatea, where the turquoise lagoon and the deep blue ocean offer a permanent spectacle. As you sail, nature decides the programme: it's not uncommon to see dolphins playing around the boat.

Then head to the south of the island, passing through the town of Tevaitoa, known for its wild bays, green cliffs, and waterfalls hidden in the vegetation.

First stop at the Nao Nao coral garden, one of the most beautiful snorkelling sites in Raiatea. Explore the coral heads and observe multicoloured tropical fish in clear, shallow waters.

We then head to the beach of the Opoa Beach hotel, where lunch is served in an idyllic setting, with your feet in the sand, facing the lagoon.

The afternoon is dedicated to discovering the Taputapuatea Marae, a major archaeological site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This guided tour by the sea helps you understand the spiritual and historical importance of this sacred place, considered the cradle of Polynesian civilisation.

To end the day, you'll sail in the peaceful bay of Faaroa and, if conditions allow, take a trip along the only navigable river in French Polynesia, in the heart of lush vegetation.

Head back to the Uturoa ferry terminal around 4:30 PM.
