Know before you book

  • Subject to favourable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather for the tour (!), you will be given the option of an alternative date or a full refund.
  • Children only above 5 years old and must be accompanied by an adult
  • All participants should have a confident level of fitness and understand that this tour is not an easy stroll of leisure walking, at some point we will need to jump and walk on the rocks, which requires some balancing skills. The tour guide is there to assist, but overall self-confidence and some fitness is required.
  • • Good shoes are essential! Ideally a pair of trekking shoes and water shoes, as we will walk on land/rocks and enter water as well. Please no flip flops! • A minimum of 1.5L drinking water (per person) is essential! Light lunch which is mostly fruits will be provided. • Please go on a tour light - towel, swimming suit/bikini, camera, sun cream, mosquito repellent (if needed).
  • Cruise liner clients will be refunded 50% cost, if cancelled withing 24 hours of the starting time, in case of ship's unability to dock at the port of La Digue
  • Clients need to be either on La Digue or Praslin. Clients who are staying on Mahe, please refrain from booking this tour, as it will not be enough time for you to travel to La Digue and be on time for the tour.
  • In accordance with UK consumer law, activities services are not subject to the right of withdrawal. Supplier cancellation policy will apply.

Activity itinerary

Grand Anse

After we meet by the helicopter pad, we will have transport taking us to Grand Anse where we will start the actual walk towards Anse Marron beach.
Spiagge di Anse Marron

Approximately in the middle of our walk we will reach Anse Marron beach which consists of a more open, bigger stretch of sand and a smaller beach with the access to a lagoon protected with the rocks. There you will be served light lunch and will have about 1-1.5 hours (depending on the tide schedule) of relaxing time.
Anse Source D'Argent

We will reach Anse Source d'Argent beach at the end of our tour. It is one of the most famous beaches in Seychelles and one of the most photographed beaches in the world with lots of beautiful rock formations. You can spend the remaining of your available time here or walk towards the ending point with Gerard near helicopter pad where we started the tour.
Union Estate Park

Upon finishing the tour, you will be able to walk through L'Union Estate Park (admission is not included in the tour price) where you can see the giant tortoises, vanilla plantation, old plantation house which is a museum now. This is the place where we finish the tour. You can spend there as much of the remaining time as you want, or leave the park together with me towards the very end point near the helicopter pad where we started the tour.
