Your tour guide will pick up from your hotel, head to the Angkor Wat temple complex and begin exploring the intricately carved Khmer ruins. Marvel at the hundreds of fine Apsara carvings and the bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology. Stroll around the massive hallways and discover small shrines still in use today by local inhabitants. After lunch: Stop at the Bayon temple and witness for yourself why this mysterious temple, dubbed as the Temple of Smiling Faces, Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper Kings, then onward to Ta Prohm. On this 6-8 hours tour, a Cambodian scholar guide will provide commentary on Khmer history, culture, archaeology, and civilisation and especially best photos spots. After/Before your tour of the temples, and weather permitting, you’ll have the opportunity to rise 200 metres over the site by a tethered helium balloon to admire the aerial view of Angkor Wat, Phnom Bakheng as well as a part of the Angkor National Park.
