Overview

  • Start in Alice Springs and see the whole Red Centre in six days, by day and by night. Walk the rim of Kings Canyon, travel the remote Mereenie Loop and explore both the West and East MacDonnell Ranges before finishing at Uluru and Kata Tjuta, with two chances to watch the sun set over the Rock.

The nights are just as special. In the West Macs, a Traditional Owner shares First Nations stories of the stars on their own Country. In the East Macs, lasers and telescopes reveal the southern sky at Star Camp, where you sleep in an Eco Star Tent beneath the Milky Way.

You will swim at Ellery Creek Big Hole, walk Kata Tjuta's Valley of the Winds, learn about Anangu culture at the Cultural Centre and walk around the base of Uluru after sunrise. Small group of up to 16, local expert guide, all main meals and camping included.
