Let us take you on a journey through time to discover the ancient and powerful civilisations of the Dadanite and Lihyanite kingdoms, that have built and shaped AlUla. The first stop on this journey back in time is Dadan, the ancient Kingdom of the Lihyanite and Dadanite civilisations.
Next, a coach bus takes you on a 10-minute drive to Jabal Ikmah. Set in a stunning desert canyon, this ‘open-air library’ has the most impressive collection of inscriptions, rock art, and petroglyphs in AlUla and is the largest of its kind in Saudi Arabia, Explore these ancient sites dated to 9th century BCE with marvellous displays of inscriptions and petroglyphs .
Jabal Ikmah, a UNESCO treasure

Inducted into UNESCO's Memory of the World Register, Jabal Ikmah features more than 300 historically significant carved inscriptions. This spectacular mountain contains the largest concentration of Dadanitic and Lihyanite inscriptions in the world.
