This half-day tour departs Rotorua Central daily between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM We’ll pick you up from your Rotorua Central accommodation and drive through picturesque forestry and farmland to the stunning geothermal heartland of the North Island. The Experience Your guide will lead you through Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, where you’ll witness: New Zealand’s largest boiling mud pool: A powerful display of geothermal energy. Vibrant hot springs: Featuring a spectrum of natural, vivid colours. Volcanic features: Including the world-famous Champagne Pool, one of the world's largest and most colourful natural hot springs. Note: Please be aware that the Lady Knox Geyser presentation at Wai-O-Tapu typically occurs daily at 10:15 AM. Because this revised schedule departs in the afternoon, the live eruption presentation will not be part of this specific time slot.
