    Upon arrival in Mekele, meet your driver and head towards Hawzen, your base for exploring the Gheralta region. En route, visit the ancient Wukro Cherkos and Abraha Atsbeha rock-hewn churches—remarkable for their architectural precision and early Christian heritage.
    Overnight in Hawzen.

    Day 2: Abune Yemata Guh – Debre Mariam Korkor – Abba Daniel
    Begin your day with an adventurous hike to Abune Yemata Guh, a cliffside church famous for its elevated position and 5th-century frescoes. Continue to explore the beautiful Debre Mariam Korkor and Abba Daniel’s prayer room, perched high in the sandstone mountains and offering sweeping views of the Gheralta landscape.

    Day 3: Debre Tsion Abune Abraham – Yohannes Makudi – Fly to Addis Ababa – Farewell Dinner
    On your final day, visit Debre Tsion Abune Abraham, known for its monastic setting and cliffside architecture. If time allows, stop at Yohannes Makudi, another hidden treasure among the Gheralta hills. After lunch, return to Mekele. End the journey with a traditional farewell dinner, complete with music, dance, and a coffee ceremony in Addis Ababa.
