    Romans—from the aftermath of Julius Caesar’s fall to the height of Imperial
    ambition. The exhibition showcases stunning statues, mosaics, frescoes and
    jewellery, alongside objects used in daily life, offering a vivid insight into one of
    history’s most influential civilisations.

    Immersive scenography and multimedia bring the splendour and drama of Rome
    to life, transporting visitors into gladiator arenas, bustling marketplaces and
    sacred spaces. Developed by Museums Victoria in collaboration with leading
    Italian institutions, this landmark exhibition draws on the prestigious collections
    of the Museo Nazionale Romano and the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di
    Firenze.
