What you can expect

  • After a morning pickup from your hotel in Kendwa or Nungwi, go by a RIB boat to discover one of the beautiful places in Zanzibar Tumbato island; around it one of the best places for snorkelling; Tumbatu Island is a small island located off the coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania, in the Indian Ocean. It is known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and rich cultural heritage; a famous diving site [shetani] is also located there; snorkelling spots.

Tumbatu Island is primarily inhabited by the Bantu-speaking Tumbatu people; we also have time to chill on Tumbatu sand bank; as we have the time for snorkelling around Tumbat because the water surrounding Tumbatu Island is teeming with marine life and colourful coral reefs, tropical fish, and possibly even sea turtles.
