With very little cliff exposure and plenty of room to build confidence, this ride is perfect for first-timers. Riding sand takes a little coaching and a little grit, but that's part of the fun. What makes Babylon special isn’t speed — it’s the feeling of being somewhere completely different, with quiet, open space, rippling rock, and views that stretch endlessly in every direction.

Concrete ruins and rusted I-beams rise from the red sand near the Virgin River — all that remains of the ill-fated Babylon House and the old Stormont Mill site. Graffiti wraps the skeletal foundation, and as you walk through it, you can’t help but wonder: how could someone live out here?
