Day 1: Fly Addis Ababa to Jinka and Visit Hamar and Mursi Villages
Arrive in Jinka from Addis Ababa and begin your adventure by driving to the Hamar village, where you'll experience their distinctive cultural practices, including the famous bull-jumping ceremony. Afterwards, continue on to the Mursi village, known for their women who wear large clay lip plates as a cultural tradition. Spend the evening enjoying the scenic beauty of the Omo Valley before heading back to Jinka for overnight accommodation.
Day 2: Drive from Turmi to Dassanech and Visit Karo Tribe
Drive from Turmi to the Dassanech tribe, located along the Omo River, and learn about their fishing and cattle-herding lifestyle. After lunch, continue to the Karo tribe, where you’ll witness their striking body painting and their farming-based culture. Return to Turmi in the afternoon, where you’ll spend the night and reflect on the day's cultural encounters.
Day 3: Drive from Turmi to Konso, Visiting Bena Tribes and Keyafer Market
Drive from Turmi to the Konso region, stopping along the way to visit the Bena tribe, known for their unique traditions and colourful attire. Next, explore the bustling Keyafer Market, where tribes from the surrounding areas come to trade goods. In the afternoon, visit the Konso people, famous for their terraced agriculture and distinctive walled villages, and overnight in Konso.
Day 4: Drive to Arba Minch – Visit Dorze Village
Drive from Konso to Arba Minch, enjoying scenic highland landscapes along the way. Stop at Dorze village to see the unique beehive-shaped huts and weaving traditions.

Day 5: Lake Chamo Boat Trip – Fly to Addis Ababa
After breakfast, enjoy a boat excursion on Lake Chamo in Nechisar National Park. The lake is home to large Nile crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of bird species, offering excellent wildlife viewing.After the boat trip, transfer to the airport in Arba Minch for your return flight to Addis Ababa.Upon arrival, the tour concludes with unforgettable memories of the diverse cultures and landscapes of the Omo Valley.
