Activity itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech → Telouet → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley

Telouet

After departure from Marrakech, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop at Telouet Kasbah, a former residence of the Glaoui family, for a short visit or photo stop.

Ait Ben Haddou

Continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. Walk through its ancient alleys and enjoy panoramic views. Free time for lunch with a view of the Kasbah.

Ouarzazate

Drive through Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” with optional photo stops near Taourirt Kasbah or visit film studios.

Dades Gorges

Continue through the Valley of Roses and arrive in Dades Valley. Enjoy the impressive rock formations and peaceful mountain scenery.

Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Erfoud → Merzouga

Todgha Gorge

After breakfast, depart towards the spectacular Todra Gorges. Walk between towering canyon walls reaching up to 300 metres high.

Erfoud

Continue through desert landscapes and Berber villages towards Erfoud, famous for fossils and date production. Optional stop at a fossil workshop. Free time for lunch on the way.

Merzouga

Arrive in Merzouga. Begin your camel trek at sunset across the dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner, live music, and a magical night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert Experience → Rissani Region → Agdez

Merzouga

Wake up early to enjoy sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, embark on a 4x4 desert exploration around Erg Chebbi. Visit nomad families and share traditional mint tea. Discover the historic M’fis mines

Rissani

Stop in the Rissani region, known as the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty. Enjoy the opportunity to taste Medfouna (Berber pizza) in a local setting (lunch not included).

Agdz

Continue the journey through desert roads and the Draa Valley towards Agdez. Arrival and check-in at your kasbah surrounded by palm groves.

Day 4: Agdez → Taznakht → Tizi n’Tichka Pass → Marrakech

After breakfast, depart from Agdez and begin your journey through the scenic landscapes of southern Morocco, following parts of the Draa Valley.
