-Kharkhorum, the ancient capital of Mongolia in the Middle Ages, is one of the country’s most important historical sites. It served as the capital of the Mongol Empire for 32 years during its 140-year existence and was founded by Ögedei Khan. Today, visitors can explore the ruins of the ancient city, the Erdene Zuu Monastery, the Kharkhorum Museum, and other rich historical landmarks.

Visit Tsenkher Hot Spring in Arkhangai Province, located at 1,850 m above sea level. The mineral hot spring reaches temperatures of up to 86°C and is the second hottest hot spring in Mongolia. Overnight stay at a tourist camp with outdoor pools supplied by natural hot spring water. Enjoy a relaxing bath surrounded by beautiful mountains and steppe scenery.

Ogii lake is located northeast of Ogiinuur soum in Arkhangai aimag, Mongolia. Ogii lake has an area of 25 square kilometres, is 7 kilometres long and 5 kilometres wide. At its deepest point, it is about 15 metres. It is a freshwater steppe lake located 1,337 metres above sea level and is part of the Arctic Ocean basin. In 2006, the lake was placed under special protection. Ogii lake is fed by the Old Orkhon River from the west, and the Khooloin River flows northwest and flows into the Orkhon River. It is covered with ice from November to May. Researchers have determined that there are 14 species of fish, 27 species of floating plants, and 48 species of floating animals in the Orkhon River basin, including pike, perch, bream, red bream and silver bream. This lake is home to about 150 species of waterfowl.

After breakfast, we drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Along the way, we will stop for lunch and make several short stops to take photos, relax, and enjoy the surrounding nature. You will also have opportunities to observe the local lifestyle in the countryside. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar in the late afternoon or evening.
