Know before you book

  • Reservations 5 days in advance will be subject to prior confirmation
  • It is forbidden the following objects: professional cameras that require lights and tripods, drones, selfie sticks, aerosols, high heels, walking sticks without rubber tips, banners and posters, sharp objects and backpacks that exceed the following dimensions: 40cm x 35 cm x 20 cm.
  • Carry the same document that you presented to the agency, given that the train tickets and entrance to Machu Picchu will be issued with the same information.
  • Please note that Check-In in most hotels begins at 13:00 hrs. Clients will be subject to the availability of the room if they arrive before, waiting in the hotel lobby
  • To preserve the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, as well as its condition as World Heritage, the Ministry of Culture has established different circuits to visit it.
  • We will make sure that your visit to the archaeological site is a memorable experience. However, please keep in mind, that either Circuit 2 or 3 will be assigned upon availability.

What you can expect

Day 1: Arrival in Cusco

Arrive at Cusco Airport and enjoy a comfortable transfer to your selected hotel. Domestic flight from Lima to Cusco must arrive not later than 10:30 am. Noon arrivals are too late. Take the opportunity to rest and recover after the flight.

Day 2: Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel. The tour starts with a visit to Santo Domingo Convent, a large Renaissance-baroque complex, which was built over the Inca Coricancha temple. Then, visit the Cathedral, the most imposing monument of the Main Square. You will be transferred to the hills above Cusco to visit the remains of the fortress of Sacsayhuamán, whose imposing ramparts offer a stunning panoramic view of Cusco, the ruins of the temple and amphitheatre of Qenqo, where it is believed the Incas practised agricultural rituals. Admire Qenqo and then finally visit Puka Pukara. Afterwards, return to your hotel.

Day 3: Cusco - Machu Picchu - Cusco

The day's excursion begins as you take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, the last populated settlement before you reach the most important archaeological site in the country. A short bus ride brings you to Machu Picchu itself, where the terraces and mostly intact stone buildings show off a masterpiece of engineering amid the mountains. Lunch is served at a café in Aguas Calientes ahead of the journey back to Cusco.

Day 4: Departure Cusco

A transport service will take you to Cusco’s airport for your departure from the city.
