Centro Administrativo La Alpujarra

The Centro Administrativo La Alpujarra, officially known as Centro Administrativo José María Córdova, is an urban complex of government buildings built in the 1980s for the administration of the department of Antioquia and the municipality of Medellín. The centre consists of two buildings separated by a plaza, which includes Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt's Monumento a la Raza sculpture honouring the history of Antioquia.

Plaza Cisneros

Plaza Cisneros, also known as Luces Park or Lights Park, is a plaza in Medellín, Colombia. It is named after the Cuban engineer Francisco Javier Cisneros, who led the construction of the Antioquia Railway. It has an artificial forest of 300 light poles, which are up to 24 metres high. The plaza used to be the main marketplace of the city.
