Leave early from your Nairobi hotel or airport heading towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the drive, you'll pass through the Great Rift Valley with plenty of time to take in the views. By lunchtime you'll arrive at the park, then head out on an afternoon safari drive. Expect to see massive flocks of flamingos, plus white and black rhinos, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, and hyenas scattered throughout. Back at the resort by evening for dinner and your first night's rest.
