Day 1 : Arusha Town – Tarangire National Park
After a breakfast, your driver guide will be ready to pick you and start your 2-hours journey travel to Tarangire National Park 0730am. drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park (2,850 sq km or 1,005 sq mile’s) for game drives. Lunch picnic there after lunch continue with afternoon game viewing in the park, a home to Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and more…Over 450 species of birds have been observed. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp in Karatu.
Day 2: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro entrances and descend 600 metres down the crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is almost 600 metres deep, approximately 20 kilometres wide, and is home to an amazing variety of animals.
On your game drive, see all different kinds of mammals ranging from the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – to Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles and mountain reedbucks. You might also see spotted hyenas, and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area.
After a picnic lunch in the crater and some more game viewing, leave the crater in the afternoon and travel back to Karatu.
Day 3: Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park- Arusha
After breakfast, pack your things and check out from your lodge as you continue to Manyara National Park. One of the smallest but most diverse parks in Tanzania, the shallow and alkaline Lake Manyara covers a large area of the park and is the seasonal home to thousands of flamingos.
However, more than 400 other bird species are also found here as well as some wonderful mammals. Troops of monkeys live in the forests, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests on the grassy plains, and elephants and lions in the acacia woodlands.
From the open roof of the vehicle, watch the animals and absorb the stunning landscape of the park and its Great Rift valley. After an extensive game drive, exit the park and drive back to Moshi town or direct to the airport.
