Day 1: Tokyo to Hakone via Mount Fuji
Begin your journey with a pickup from your hotel in Tokyo and travel towards the Mount Fuji area by private chauffeur-driven car. Your first stop is Arakurayama Sengen Park, home to the iconic Chureito Pagoda. From here, enjoy one of Japan’s most famous viewpoints, where Mount Fuji, traditional architecture, and seasonal scenery come together in a classic landscape.
Continue to Oshino Hakkai, a historic village known for its crystal-clear spring ponds fed by Mount Fuji’s snowmelt. Take a relaxed walk through the village, explore traditional houses, and enjoy the calm rural atmosphere at the foot of the mountain.
In the afternoon, continue your journey to Hakone. If you prefer a lighter pace, the schedule can be adjusted to allow more rest time or an earlier arrival at the ryokan.
After check-in, enjoy the refined ryokan environment, including a welcome service, room relaxation, and your first onsen swimming session. In the evening, savour a traditional kaiseki-style dinner served at the ryokan, followed by a peaceful night surrounded by Hakone’s mountain setting.
Day 2: Hakone to Atami
Start your day with a Japanese breakfast at the ryokan, followed by a relaxed morning. Depending on weather and personal interest, you may choose one signature Hakone experience before departing, such as a visit to the Lake Ashi and Hakone Shrine area or the Owakudani volcanic valley.
In the early afternoon, travel by private chauffeur-driven car to Atami, a seaside hot spring town known for its ocean views and refined atmosphere. Before or after check-in, you may choose to visit the MOA Museum of Art, home to an impressive collection of Japanese and East Asian art, as well as panoramic views over Sagami Bay.
After checking into your Atami ryokan, the remainder of the day is reserved for relaxation. Enjoy onsen swimming, quiet time in your room, and the peaceful coastal setting. In the evening, savour a second kaiseki-style dinner served at the ryokan.
Day 3: Atami to Tokyo
Enjoy an early morning onsen session before breakfast. After check-out, customise your return to Tokyo based on your interests and timing. Stop in Odawara for a short visit around the historic castle area or a local lunch stop. In Kamakura, popular options include the Great Buddha (Kotoku-in), Hase-dera Temple, or a scenic walk near the old town streets.
After the stops, continue your private transfer to Tokyo for drop-off at your hotel or a central location of your choice.
