The Avión de los Uruguayos expedition invites you to live a unique experience in the Andes Mountains, combining adventure, history, and deep contact with nature. From Malargüe, you'll venture into imposing mountain landscapes, crossing remote valleys, rivers of thaw, and ancient trails used by Andean muleteers. You can do the crossing on horseback or by trekking, always accompanied by specialised guides and baqueanos.

During the expedition, you'll cross the Atuel River, trek through mountains, and set up camps in natural environments of absolute tranquility. On the second day, you'll experience the most significant moment of the trip: the ascent to the Valley of Tears, more than 3,700 metres above sea level, where the remains of the plane are located.
