What you can expect
Take pleasure in the natural beauty that South Korea has to offer on this 2-day tour to Mount Seorak National Park. See the majestic mountains, discover the scenic rock formations of Gwongeumseong Fortress and visit Sinhung and Naksansa temples.
Day 1Begin your journey to Mt Seoraksan National Park in a comfortable coach and get acquainted with your guide. Upon arrival, admire the vast landscape surrounded by a beautiful mountain backdrop home to more than 2,000 species of wildlife, including Korean gorals and musk deer.
Next, travel by cable car up to the ancient Gwongeumseong Fortress on the steep Dol Mountain and admire scenic rock formations along the way. Later, explore the divinely inspired Sinhung Temple with a history dating back to the 7th century before checking in to your hotel for a night.
Day 2Rise early for breakfast and hotel check-out. Then, continue your journey at the bustling Daepohang Port. Taste delectable fresh seafood at the markets and local food stalls. Afterwards, visit the ancient temple of Naksansa and appreciate its Silla-period architecture.
In the afternoon, stroll along Naksan Beach, located just 2 miles (4 km) away. View the dense pine trees lining the sandy shores and conclude your tour with drop-off at your hotel in Seoul.
