Day 1 – Mestia.
The tour begins at 07:00 from our office in Kutaisi. Our first stop will be the Enguri Water Dam. After visiting the dam, we will continue our journey to Mestia, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant along the way. We will make several stops to capture stunning photographs and enjoy the picturesque waterfalls and breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountain Range.
We are expected to arrive in Mestia by 13:00. Our first activity will be a visit to Hatsvali Ski Resort, where a cable car takes guests from 1500 to 2300 metres in altitude. Here, visitors can enjoy skiing and various snow activities, all while taking in the magnificent views of Ushba (4700-4710m) and Tetnuldi (4850m).
The tour concludes at 16:00 at Credo Bank, where you will spend the night in Mestia.
Overnight in Mestia
Day 2 – Ushguli
On this day, we embark on an off-road tour to Ushguli, the highest settlement in Europe. We will begin our journey at 10:00 AM from Credo Bank, located at #38 Tamar Mefe Street, Mestia. Our first stop will be the Tower of Love, which tells the storey of a forbidden romance.
Following our visit, we will continue our off-roading adventure to Ushguli. Upon arrival, our vehicles will be parked in the centre, allowing guests three hours to explore the ancient towers and churches that define this remarkable village.
We will return to Mestia by 16:00, where we will switch vehicles and head back to Kutaisi for the night.
Please note, if the road to Ushguli is closed due to snow, we will instead visit Tetnuldi Ski Resort.
