The trip begins with cultural sightseeing of heritage monuments in Kathmandu. On the following days, you experience exciting whitewater rafting in the Trishuli River, a jungle safari in Chitwan National Park, and trekking to Ghandruk village inside the Annapurna Conservation Area with stunning views of the Himalayan range, mountain people, culture, and lifestyle. It ends with the taste of Nepalese cuisine with a show of folk dances and music.
Nepal Adventure Tour Itinerary/strong>
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Welcome to Kathmandu Airport! Our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, we will give you an introduction to your trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Sightseeing the Kathmandu Valley
You will be seeing the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swoyambhunath. You will learn much about Hindu and Buddhist culture. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Drive to Chitwan with Rafting on the Trishuli
We will have a day of adventure with rivers, with rafting on the Trishuli River as we travel to Chitwan. Once we arrive at Chitwan, our evening includes a cultural display by the Tharu people. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 4: Chitwan Jungle Activities
You will spend a full day of jungle safari, canoeing, birding, and swimming with elephants at Chitwan National Park. Overnight at the jungle lodge.
Day 5: Chitwan to Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara, visiting Davis Falls, the Gupteshwor Caves, and the Tibetan Refugee Camp. In the evening, relax by the lakeside. Overnight stay in Pokhara
Day 6: Trek to Ghandruk
Drive to Nayapul, then trek to Ghandruk through beautiful scenery. Ghandruk is a fine Gurung village with nice views of the mountain. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 7: Trekking to Pothana
Trek from Ghandruk to Pothana through mountain views, forests, and local villages. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 8: Trekking to Phedi via Dhampus and Drive to Pokhara
Trek to Phedi via Dhampus, then drive back to Pokhara. Enjoy an evening walk around the Phewa Lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 9: Drive to Kathmandu & Final Farewell Dinner
Drive back to Kathmandu to do last-minute shopping in Thamel, then have a cultural final farewell dinner. Overnight stay in Kathmandu
Day 10: Departure/strong>
Transfer to the airport for departure with lasting memories of Nepal.
