Overall, the hotel was good and I had a pleasant stay. I did not receive any VIP benefits such as a room upgrade or similar perks. As an Expedia Gold Member, I was expecting at least one VIP offer from the hotel, but no benefits were provided at all. The only thing I received was early check-in Additionally, the hotel did not provide slippers in the room. For a hotel of this quality, I consider this a significant downside, as even basic amenities like slippers are expected.

Lovely, quiet location right by the river. Local shops are a 5 mins walk away. Nice breakfast set-up where you can sit inside, or outside on a lovely balcony with a few tables.

Perfect location to visit Cologne. Very good breakfast. Confortable rooms and outstanding staff.

The good: Clean rooms Friendly staff (especially evening) Quiet Could do better: Eerily dark corridors at night No irons and ironing boards in rooms Mediocre, and expensive, breakfast Credit card reader at kiosk refused to accept any of my Canadian cards - friendly staff was quick to help Very dodgy area - I would not walk around the area alone at night

Lovely stay at a beautiful luxery hotel. Breakfast is excellent. Overall a high end experience. Treat yourself !

Great stay in the high end of DUS, walking distance to attractions. Service was excellent especially the delicious breakfast.

Extremely rude staff at breakfast lounge. No refrigerator or phone inside the room. No piece of information inside the room. No water. AC was not working. No trash bag inside the trash cans. I had to do grocery shopping to buy all the necessities that was not provided by the hotel like trash bags, bottled water etc.
