The room was very clean and bright Much more spacious than some other capital cities. The staff were very helpful and always present to lend a hand. The breakfast was lovely. Huge selection, constantly being topped up. I enjoyed the poached eggs while my European peers had omelettes. The lounge was a lovely space where you could get out of your room and work or read. It’s right in the middle of everything but not loud. The waterfront is only at the end of the street and there’s lots of shops to choose from. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Clean, friendly staff and really well located. I’d definitely stay there again.

I found a cockroach and another dead one. I message the host and received no response. There were also no coffee pods for the coffee machine but there was creamer. The pool was dirty when we arrived and had some sort of paper clogging the drain system. There were no towels for the kitchen. We ran out of toilet paper for one of the bathrooms. The door lock was difficult to operate.

This was a wonderful hotel. Staff was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this hotel. Staff attentive. Room was extremely clean. If we needed additional items, staff immediately took care of it.

The Valverde is a truly beautiful boutique hotel and an unforgettable place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such a lovely greeting, which immediately set the tone for our visit. The service throughout our stay was absolutely perfect—warm, attentive, and thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. The hotel itself is an experience in quest luxury - refined, elegant and modern. We loved all of the artwork and retro details. The fabric choices were so rich and lush, which gave the space so much character. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wonderful buffet offering plenty of delicious options. We didn’t have dinner onsite but the cocktails were fabulous. Everything about Hotel Valverde felt carefully considered. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined and relaxing boutique hotel experience.

This was a quick overnight stay before heading to the airport the next morning. The staff was super helpful and accommodating to our slightly early arrival. There was excellent communication prior to our arrival and during our stay. The room was super cute and comfortable, and the fridge was stocked with water (that you had to pay for, but nice to have the option). Overall, I would recommend this place.
