Great River Road Romantic Holidays

My room was clean, chic and modern. Located just a block or two from the Main Street in downtown New Ordeans, it was easy to access. I have nothing to say but nice things about the valet staff who were courteous and helpful.

I purchased breakfast vouchers with my room before arriving and was able to receive credit for it on the bill after checking out. It was a pretty easy process and it was delicious! I still think about the fresh French toast and beignets!! My room was beautiful (king corner room), but wasn’t vacuumed thoroughly before my arrival. The bathroom and bed were clean though so no real complaints. I will say be careful with the minibar and drink fridge. I opened the drink fridge and picked up something and was charged for both even though I didn’t drink/eat anything. I knew better, but my curiosity got the better of me! I could have called the front desk to fix it, but I forgot. Moral of the story I should’ve drank/ate whatever it was so I picked up. Besides that a great location and helpful staff. I always appreciate the warm southern hospitality, coming from the the icy east coast.

Such a gem of a property with just enough nostalgia in the French Quarter!

Every last detail was perfect. Amenities are impressive and service was warm and gracious. Every single person we encountered was genuine and helpful. Pool is such a great vibe!

I loved Chicago but our sink did not drain, the air conditioning made a horrendous noise all night every time it came on and off and to make matters worse, we were close to the elevators which were also extremely noisy. Basically no sleep.
