Then walked us back to hotel and rolling our bags with him. He was as very gracious and we appreciated his help very much. The room and the restaurant were both wonderful too. This place is just outside the old city walls and easy to walk to everything. I highly recommend this hotel. (432 reviews) Absolutely amazing location and facilities. This was our first stay in Split. Nice big walkway so we could navigate from the taxi dropoff to the front door of the apartment. Small tip: asked to get dropped off by the Croatian National Theatre at the top of Marmontova Ulica - it will save you money instead of by the waterfront. It felt very safe even when it got dark outside. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite on the 3rd floor. We were travelling with our daughters so having 2 bathrooms made a huge impact on our stay. Nice balcony to sit have your morning tea or coffee. Lots of nice touches such as soaps, tea, etc. Very clean. Great mattress. Communication with Ivana was amazing. Ivana also walked us through lots of good options for restaurants and shopping. She also showed us the other single bedroom units on a higher floor. Definitely staying here again on our future trip! (181 reviews) We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Residences. The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, modern, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The location couldn’t be better: tucked away in a quiet spot, yet only a short walk from Split’s Old Town with all its restaurants, attractions, and history right at your doorstep. The staff were outstanding. Tina and Antonia were always just a message away on WhatsApp, ready to answer any questions, give helpful tips, and even arrange restaurant reservations for us. Their attentiveness made our stay effortless and stress-free. A special mention goes to the hotel-owned restaurant, Magnus, located in the Old Town. It was by far the best meal we had during our entire trip — a true gem not to be missed. If you’re looking for the perfect balance of peaceful accommodation and close proximity to all the action, this is the place.
