While the views of Lake Lugano are on point, the place is outdated and in dire need of renovation. We stayed in a Grand Suite, but cooling was a major issue, there were only two AC units for four bedrooms and a living room, which is unacceptable. We ended up dragging a mattress into the living room just to stay cool enough to sleep. The second AC unit had its noisy compressor installed directly inside the bathroom, making that space disruptively loud. To top it off, the building completely ran out of hot water by the evening. You are paying strictly for the location, not the comfort.

An excellent property with exceptional service. Staff were extremely attentive. We ate in La Luce restaurant one evening and visited the spa. The hotel is in a great location with stunning lake views and it’s only a short drive into the centre of Lugano.

Highly recommend this hotel for several reasons. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Location- minutes from the train station (exit at platform 4). Easy access to the beautiful Lugano using the cable car which is every 3 minutes and takes less than one minute. Area around the hotel. Room was comfortable and very well decorated. The hotel has many pieces of art work which are a joy to look at. Some quirky things look at. The hotel website has a picture of breakfast - this is exactly how it was presented. Another work of art for eyes (and stomachs) to feast upon. Coffee made to order. You can help yourself to water and make a coffee anytime of the day. Rated as 3 star but should be higher.

Beautiful city and great location. Nice quaint hotel. Able to use city buses to downtown area. Finding parking could be an issue depending on the time of day.
