I stood in line for over an hour. Half of that time there were two attendants not helping anyone. No one informed me of the cap in the pool and that attendant ran over and yelled at me. It’s also not one your welcome paper.

Bel hôtel sans prétention, facile d’accès, mais trop en retrait du vieux Coimbra et situé dans un quartier douteux…

Great property, arrived very late, receptionist was very helpful to get us organised and settled after a long days travel. Property was great, access to shops, restaurants and good views to the beach. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Would recommend.

Where do we start. This was a fabulous hotel. Everything we expected and hoped for. Sonia looked after us from the moment we arrived and we could not have wished for a better host. If you want a modern hotel with square rooms and satellite TV, this is not the place for you. Keeping the style of its initial build 100 years ago makes this place very special from the opulence of the residents lounge, the ship like dining room and the rooms which are old but well cared for. We were fortunate to have a room facing the river with large balcony doors and air conditioning. The breakfast was exceptional. We dropped one star on the amenities only because it would have been nice to have a bar. To be fair there is an honesty bar but its not the same. Deserves all 5 stars overall and we re already looking at dates to return.
