A really beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Enjoyed the restaurant, the bar and the beer garden. The food was delicious everywhere, but the restaurant in particular was fantastic. Spa and pool were really nice, very relaxing and also clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

We had a very enjoyable stay overall. The hotel entrance creates an excellent first impression with a welcoming atmosphere and stylish decor that immediately sets a high standard. The dining experience was outstanding, and the breakfast was particularly impressive, offering a great selection of high-quality food and attentive service. The only aspect that fell slightly short of expectations was the room itself. While it was clean, comfortable, and perfectly functional, it lacked the character, style, and attention to detail that were so evident in the hotel’s downstairs areas. Compared with the beautiful entrance and dining spaces, the room felt quite basic and somewhat uninspiring. With a little more investment in the room décor and furnishings, the overall experience would have been exceptional. Despite this minor drawback, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return for the excellent food, breakfast, and welcoming atmosphere.

The view was simply amazing. So nice to have a relaxing place to retreat to away from crowds. The garden/beach area is about a 5-10 minute walk but it has very comfortable chairs.

Visit Grundslee and the stay at the Mondi Hotel if you are looking for a quiet, scenic, and romantic getaway. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Susanne at The front desk was particularly helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms at the hotel. Get a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the lake. You won’t regret it. Hotel rooms a clean and spacious, even for our party of 4. The breakfast was included and was very, very good. They also have a pretty good restaurant. Again with great views of the lake. On the downside, there isn’t very much for kids to do. There is a very, very small playground close to the lake but that’s about it. You can walk along the lake but the kids are over it in a couple of hours. The grounds could be challenging explore if you have mobility issues. Somewhat hilly. Grounds need a serious landscape redesign. Great for couples but I would spend more than one day with young kids.
