Flower Trail Adults Only Holidays

The hotel itself is beautiful, and the breakfast was very good with a nice selection. The location and facilities were also enjoyable. However, I was disappointed by the attitude of some staff members. When I checked in, my room was not ready as requested, so I waited in the lobby and walked around to look at the hotel. A male staff member suddenly asked if I was a guest. After I explained my room number, he went to speak with the front desk. When I asked the reception staff if I was not allowed to walk around the hotel while waiting, her response was not very friendly. I understand that staff need to ensure security, but the way guests are approached and communicated with is very important. As a paying guest, I expected a more welcoming and respectful attitude. It was a pity because the hotel itself is lovely, but the service experience affected my overall impression. Hopefully the management can improve staff training and guest communication.

As a vegan traveller staff need more training on what food is available. Had to ask numerous staff every morning for vegan options and if the third person I’d spoken to hadn’t brought me vegan ham and cheese I wouldn’t have known the other mornings when staff said they didn’t have anything that they had. Mentioned they need a sign saying what’s available as other guests wouldn’t know and would just think nothing available. All staff friendly and helpful, great location.

The apartment was fine but there were ants and flies all over the place. Also we were not sent a key code or instructions for getting in. I had to call them which resulted in fees on my phone.

This is a wonderful property in a beautiful part of a very nice town. Parking is the only issue and it is minor. Parking is offsite in a public underground lot a short walk, but a walk nonetheless, from the hotel
