Great River Road Adults Only Holidays

Ideal stay as this place is in the middle of everything so it was a great blind pick. So being in the center of everything means you will hear ambulances like crazy however, you can walk to many places easily. The hotel itself is nice and well kept up in common areas. Not all rooms are as kept up/maintained- other than changing sheets and replacing towels, as they should be. Kept up meaning, touching up extreme nicks and natural wear n tear that occurs when hundreds of people are in and out constantly. Keeping things maintained and fresh seems ideal as this is what is advertised online so it is expected. The issue with my room was quickly rectified by a male staffer at the front desk. He was quick and extremely efficient in handling my situation. I appreciated the fantastic customer service. I did not use room service but there’s a fantastic restaurant as you enter the hotel. Very nice.

No Ice machines on any of the floors. Along with no microwaves in the rooms. But an overall great experience.

The thing that stuck out was the courtesy of the staff. They were so helpful at the desk with everything we asked about.

Excellent location. Staff very nice. Room big and bed very comfortable. But noisy. As is all of Chicago. Trying to sell in room soap products for exorbitant prices tachy as hell. Rooftop lounge had sadly very short hours and limited open days. Seems a shame to waste such an opportunity.

was definitely deceived by the photos. the place was grimier than expected, the shower was disgusting. there were barely any outlets, the bathroom door did not have a lock and was unable to close properly. one of the lamps didn't even have a light bulb in it. got a non-smoking room but it still smelled of cigarettes. the whole place was just bad and definitely not what was expected.

Nice staff, easy check-in, and about an 8 minute walk to red line which can get you all over town. No complaints about our stay.

Great experience the staff was super friendly and the hotel location was just amazing right in downtown Chicago. I will definitely be staying there again..
