Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a nice apartment. Area was nice and a 5 minute walk to downtown. Communication with hosy was lacking. I had a few questions before I left for my trip and no one ever responded. They did not mention anything about parking. You have to pay for parking thevwhole time as there is no parking for the building at all, which would have been good to know and was one of my questions before i got there.

The Ava apartments are ideally located for walking exploration around Reykjavik. We had a short challenge getting the access code to work and arrived before the cleaner was finished but it wasn’t a long wait. The street noise can be heard but just being in Reykjavik was such a treat.

Location is fabulous & walkable to pretty much anywhere in the city - 3 minute walk to Bus Stop 4 located at Miðbakki (this is important if taking tours), 10 min walk to Bónus grocery store, close to pharmacy, shopping, convenience stores, museums, restaurants. Yet it's quiet! We stayed in unit 303. Staff were welcoming, helpful, informative, friendly, efficient. There is an elevator. Entrances are secure so only guests can enter/leave. Cleaning staff did a great job! The kitchen is a must, especially if trying to remain on budget. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. for meal prep. They have salt & pepper. We used our butter instead of buying oil. If you need extra towels, Nespresso coffee pods, or other cleaning products, ask at the front desk. Safe worked well. Beds were comfy & perfect amount of "soft". Lighting in the bathroom wasn't the greatest but there was a good reading lamp in the bedroom if needed. They also have a magnifying fold out mirror in the bathroom. The light and temperature controls were rather neat ... all electronically controlled by us. The only down-ish sides: - our balcony faced a black roof so no view to speak of but not a big deal because we didn't spend any time out there (cold!) and were out a lot of the time. - parking was a tad pricey (but it was in a locked secure garage) - I ended up splashing water everywhere as the shower only has a half door but great water pressure! Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent Attention and Service! Best location, and the spa was an added bonus! Tides Restaurant, The Rooftop, and The Tides Cafe were all divine! We can’t wait to come back.

I couldn’t fault the location of this apartment. Straight overlooking the main shopping street. However, the bar in the ground floor was audible, luckily the music was great, but there was a lot of loud groups arriving and leaving. The owners emailed a few days before the trip to say they would leave earplugs in the room. Had I known before I would have booked elsewhere. The apartment generally was a little tired. I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, 2 adults and a child

It exceeded our expectations and was a home away from home. The efficiency kitchen was equipped with a 2 burner hob, microwave, mini fridge, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, kettle and much more. The breakfast was amazing and the contents of the basket changed every day. The location was excellent and the staff was outstanding.

The room was really nice and spacious. Breakfast was amazing. I never got the check in email so we were scrambling trying to get the code for the garage and the room. We got lucky we found a woman to help us. Other than that, we had a great time here

This dome was perfect! Very clean which is the most important to me. It had all the essentials, extra blankets and the beds were comfortable. The host was super responsive and sent delivered more wood for us quickly. The town of Selfoss is 5-6 kilometers and has nice dining options. My family enjoyed our stay very much and will be coming back!
