The location was beautiful and much cooler, which was a relief from the temps down in Kernville. Yes, with the 155 closed, the drive up to the cabin required more planning and extra driving time, but we didn’t regret our choice at all. There was plenty of room for our two families and the kids had a blast! The house had everything we needed for large family dinners and game nights. We found a great local hike instead of venturing down to Kernville. Jake was very responsive to all our needs and questions! ##### Ashley P. We picked a great year as Lake Isabella had been extremely low but this year the water levels were excellent so we enjoyed 2 days at the lake. Only about an hour drive up to see the giant Sequoias which was a great experience. The home was beautiful and secluded in the pines with a great big yard for the dog and amazing space to spread out indoors with the entire family of 7\. The game space upstairs was super for video games or doing a puzzle. Plenty of couch space for all of us to enjoy a movie downstairs. The kitchen was huge and superbly stocked, and a great big dining table both for meals and card games for everyone. All the bedrooms had privacy and space for everyone. The fire pit and hot tub were awesome for relaxation, s’mores, and gazing at the stars. A great getaway and extremely relaxing. ##### John P.
