One-night stand

Posted 20-Mar-2016
Pros: Facilities, e.g. dining.Proximity to nearby clubs.Car parking just up the street.
Cons: Possibly the room lighting needs a boost, as I found it hard to see into the wardrobe
Booked the Cosmo for a flying visit to Leeds and a night out...Excellent location, and steak & fries nosh for dinner. Hotel is well within range of Leeds nightlife.Staff were v.helpful throughout the stay - I left some clothes behind, and they were promptly posted back to me in London.

Close to a great Rum bar

The rooms were a bit small but the double bed was comfy and the bathroom extras were decent.

Extractor vans, loud talking staff from 7am under my room window, and boiling hot in the room.

Decent for a night out, call lane is the one!

Booked in after driving around the one way system for hours, do not park in the city centre! After checking in I went up stairs, it did feel like a B and B in a strange way, with an old fashioned key to open your door, unlike the more modern swipe cards, Shower was quality and the room was a decent size, would probably stay again if I got it for under fifty quid as the location is right on top of the gay village and call lane, with both sides rammed with bars which is what you want when you go to leeds

The hotel is in a good location and it nears to train station and shopping centre. The room is big and clean.

Handy for the station.

Posted 15-Dec-2015
Pros: Complimentary glass of wine on check in. Handy for station. Nice location for restaurants.
Cons: Maybe cook the bacon at breakfast for less time? It was a bit on the tough side both mornings!

Review based on a 2-night stay. Check in is not before 15:00 but the staff were more than happy to look after luggage if you arrive earlier. A nice touch is to be offered a complimentary glass of wine on check-in. The room was comfortable and, handily, had an iron and ironing board. The hotel is handy for city centre restaurants and the staff recommended an excellent Thai restaurant a few yards from the hotel. There was some noise transmission from adjacent rooms and you can hear things like light switches being flicked on in the middle of the night in neighbouring rooms. This may not suit light sleepers. Pillows are firm but comfortable. Breakfast is self-service with a range of fruit juices, fruit, cereal, tea/coffee and "fry up" type items. Check out was speedy. Overall my stay was pleasant and I'd consider this hotel again for future stays.

Don't stay in room 114!

Room was tiny with one side of queen bed against the wall. Room cold as inner windows didn't shut and noisy as above function room. Over priced.
