"A few things that were not super clear in the VRBO posting / that we wish we had known before booking: 1) You need to bring your towels 2) There is no WiFi 3) you need to co-ordinate with a person to check in (in person) 4) They will ask you to take a picture of the electric meter before and after your stay to calculate your electricity consumption and potentially charge you for it 5) the access is tricky (very narrow roads) and the closest grocery store is more than 10 minutes away 6) There is...

Hotel Comtes d'Urgell by Nexta

8/10 Good

"The location was good absolutely and the room was clean. The bathroom was clean but the shower was too small ( I am 187 cm). The kitchen staff were very kind (overall staff were kind in the hotel) and the best part is the breakfast absolutely. On the other side, the elevator makes too much noises and I was hearing from my room every time it was working ( I was close to the elevator). Something was wrong with that elevator. Also, the walls were too thin so you can absolutely hear everything. The guy next to my room was talking over the night and i simply knocked the wall and he stopped talking so imagine. But overall this is a clean and comfortable hotel and staff are very kind. I would recommend."

Hotel & Aparthotel Cosmos

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel Cosmos is in a nice location in Andorra (several km past the main city, after entering from the border with Spain). We stayed in an apartment with kitchen facilities, which together with the grocery store next door proved very convenient. There was also secure parking in the garage on the property, and it was easy to drive to the mountains for hiking."

Hotel Piolets Soldeu Centre by Nexta

10/10 Excellent

"Our first impressions were mixed as this was our first time at a ski resort in the summer and there was some building work outside of the hotel we didn’t know about that concerned me and a lot of the guests were more senior so we were skeptical . We quickly changed our minds. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, we all had plenty of room and the bathrooms were very generous. The sliding doors blocked the outside noise! Not sure where I’d hang all the wet ski stuff but not a problem this time. The food was great, good selection, especially good breakfast buffet. Staff lovely and helpful. Spa and gym very well equipped . Shame it wasn’t open for longer hours. Hotel arranged a massage for one of us, they were especially lovely to my son who happens to be Autistic, I was very impressed by their kindness in this regard. The entertainment was really good also and not just for families with little kids, everyone got involved. We liked the whole multigenerational vibe here . Soldeu has some excellent restaurants and loads to do at a very reasonable price. We will definitely back to ski ! Thank you x"
