Under "Amenities" it reconfirmed Continental breakfast included, Served daily from 7.30am to 10am. THERE IS NO BREAKFAST, not even a breakfast room, nothing. I was just told to go to the supermarket next door to buy and prepare my own Other...

Calm area but easy to go other town such as Port Louis or Curepipe etc,. Train station, boulangerie(napolitaine available!), briyani shop(tooo much for a single touirst!), convenience store nearby. "If you’re looking for simple, safe, self-service accommodations in the heart of Grand Baie, this is the place to go. These rooms are fully equipped with all necessary amenities to prepare simple meals, but why would you when you are surrounded by dozens of great restaurants and food vendors. It is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach, and a similar 5 minute walk the Super U hypermarket. A laundromat is very convenient in the same complex as the Super U. Villas Mon Plaisir

8/10 Good

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our flight arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they kindly allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. They also looked after our luggage after check-out so we could collect it later. The buffet dinner was slightly expensive, and there aren’t many restaurants nearby. However, I would highly recommend Ananta Café and Art Gallery, which is close to the hotel. They serve really nice homemade cakes, and the staff are very friendly. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel."

Charming villa

8/10 Good

"Our stay at this house in Mauritius had both enjoyable aspects and some clear drawbacks. On the positive side, the pool is excellent and the overall interior design is very সনদর—tasteful and inviting. The outdoor area is great for relaxing, and the house has a nice aesthetic overall. However, there were some issues upon arrival. The house was not clean when we checked in. After we raised this, it was cleaned again promptly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, some of the furniture is quite worn, and the bed linen had a musty smell, which negatively affected the first impression.Another important point is the location. The listing is quite inaccurate, and you only receive the exact location shortly before arrival. The house is actually located outside the town, so having a car is absolutely necessary.A major downside is the noise at night. Motorbikes in particular are very loud and can be heard throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. We strongly recommend bringing earplugs.Overall, the house has potential thanks to its nice design and pool, but improvements are needed in terms of cleanliness, furniture condition, and transparency regarding the location."

Victoria Beachcomber Resort & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"We recently stayed at Victoria Beachcomber as an Indian family with kids, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property itself is amazing—massive, beautifully maintained, and set in a stunning location. The sunset views from the resort are simply breathtaking and were one of the highlights of our stay. We stayed in a ground-floor double room, which was very comfortable and offered lovely views with easy access to the beach, making it especially convenient for families. As vegetarians, we initially found the buffet options somewhat limited. However, Chef Iqbal went above and beyond to take special care of us throughout our stay. Every day, he lovingly prepared delicious Indian curries and fresh rotis, ensuring that we always had a satisfying meal. His hospitality and personal attention truly made a difference. The Kids Club was another standout feature. Our 8-year-old thoroughly enjoyed the games and activities organized by the team. The staff took excellent care of the children, keeping them engaged and entertained, which allowed the adults to relax and enjoy the resort. We also loved the complimentary water activities. The glass-bottom boat, paddle boat, and kayak were fantastic additions and added a lot of fun to our holiday. Every evening, the resort organized cultural dance performances showcasing local traditions and dance forms, followed by a DJ night. These events created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere and gave us a glimpse into the local"
